Day 1 : DELHI

Originally named Masjid Jahan Numa, was built by Shahjahan, the Fifth Mughal Emperor, Shahjahan himself laid its foundation stone on Friday the 6th of October 1650 AD. About six thousand laborers took part in the construction of Jama Masjid. They dedicatedly worked for six continuous years. Jama Masjid got ready in the year 1656 AD. Today it is the largest mosque in India. Evening visit to DargahHazratNizamuddinAulia. The Dargah (mausoleum) is the pinnacle of world's most famous Sufi saint, NizamuddinAuliya (1238 - 1325 AD). Situated in the Nizamuddin West area of Delhi, the dargah is visited by thousands of Muslims, Hindus, Christians and people from other religions. The tombs of poet Amir Khusro and Mughal princess JehanAra Begum are also located within the NizamuddinDargah complex and Inayat Khan's tomb is just around the corner. HazratNizamuddin’sDargah is where we find life celebrated in all its colours, as faces happy and sad show themselves in the crowd, as thanks are given to the saint for successes and his intercession is sought against failure, as births are celebrated and death mourned, newborns brought for blessings and piers carried in with a prayer for peace. Day 2 : DELHI-AGRA (200 Km / 4 Hr)

Check In to the hotel and relax. Post lunch visit to the historical residence of Mughals, The Old Fort (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE). Ever since Babur defeated and killed Ibrahin Lodi at Panipat in 1526, Agra played an important center of Mughal Empire.
Akbar chose this city on the bank of River Yamuna as his capital and proceeded to build a strong citadel for the purpose. It is said that he destroyed the damaged old fort of Agra for the purpose and raised this grand group of monuments instead in red sandstone. Started in 1565, it took eight years and thirty-five lakh rupees to complete its construction. Qasim Khan Mir Barr-u-Bahr supervised the construction of this building.
Evening visit to the world famous Taj Mahal (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE).Built by Fifth Mughal Emperor Shahjahan (Khurram) for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The White Domed Marble Mausoleum is one of the finest pieces of architecture in the world today. The construction began in about 1631 AD and the complex was completed in 1648 AD.
Day 3 : AGRA - JAIPUR (240 Km / 5 Hr)

The historical city built by Akbar and the residence for his beloved wife, Jodha Bai. Built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar, FatehpurSikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years.
The city consists of famous builds like BulandDarwaza, Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, JodhaKa Mahal, Jama Masjid and The The Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti. A white marble encased tomb of the Sufi saint, Salim Chisti (1478–1572), within the Jama Masjid's sahn, courtyard. The single-storey structure is built around a central square chamber, within which is the grave of the saint under an ornate wooden canopy encrusted with mother-of-pearl mosaic.
It enshrines the burial place of Salim Chisti a descendant of KhwajaMoinuddin Chishti of Ajmer and lived in a cavern on the ridge at Skirl. The mausoleum constructed by Akbar as a mark of his respect for the Sufi saint who foretold the birth of his son who was named Prince Salim after him and later succeeded Akbar to the throne of the Mughal Empire, as Jahangir. Muinuddin Chishti was born in 1141 and died in 1236 AD. He is the most famous Sufi saint of the Chishti order of the Indian Subcontinent. He introduced and established the order in the subcontinent. The initial spiritual chain or silsila of the Chishti order in India, comprising Moinuddin Chishti, Bakhtiyar Kaki, Baba Farid, NizamuddinAuliya, Ashraf Jahangir Semnani (each successive person being the disciple of the previous one) constitutes the great Sufi saints of Indian history.
DargahShariff of HazratKhwajaMuinuddin Chishti is indeed an ornament to the city of Ajmer. Mumbai or Bombay, the commercial and entertainment capital of India, lies on the Western Coastline.
Afternoon visit to Haji Ali Dargah is one of India’s most famous and prestigious landmarks situated about 500 yards from the Mumbai shoreline in the middle of the Arabian Sea off LalaLajpatrai Marg. The structure was erected on a set of high rising rocks and was given its present day shape in the early 19th century after the Trust was legally formed as an entity in 1916. Haji Ali Dargah is the complex housing the tomb of the Muslim Saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari (R.A.). Along with the tomb, there is also a Masjid at Haji Ali.
This monument has been sentinel to the shores of Mumbai since a long time. The URS (Death Anniversary) of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari (R.A.) is on the 16th of (Rabi-ul-Aakhir / Rabi-al-Thaany) (17th Shab). The Trust as per it's objects performs all necessary rituals as per Islamic traditions and distributes Niyaaz (Food / Sweets) to all devotees, visitors and fakirs.
A special program of Milad and prayers is held on the 16th of every Islamic Month after Namaaz-e-Isha (17th Shab) in remembrance of the URS of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari (R.A.). The Trust distributes Niyaaz to all present. Evening will be free at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 7 : MUMBAI
Post breakfast excursion to Gateway of India, a national heritage building in India that is located at the waterfront in Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai, facing Arabian Sea.
It was built as a tribute for Queen Mary and King George V, who were on an official visit to Mumbai in 1911. Drive to Excursion to Elephanta Caves. This UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE lies around 10 km / 6 miles to the east. It’s famous for its awesome rock-cut temples. The island is named after a colossal elephant found in the island, which is popularly known as ‘Gharapuri’. At present, the statue of elephant is housed at Jijamata Garden in Mumbai. In ancient period, the place is variously identified as Puri which is mentioned in the Aihole inscription of Pulakesin II.
There are seven cave excavations in the Elephanta group and these are datable from circa 6th – 7th centuries A.D. Among the cave excavations, the Cave 1 is the most impressive which represents the evolved Brahmanical rock-cut architecture. The cave is also famous for the exquisite and vibrant sculptures. Evening will be free at Juhu Beach and Marine Drive. Overnight stay.
Day 8 : MUMBAI – DELHI (1500 Km / 2 Hr via Flight)
